Menno Verbeek

Menno’s passion for public affairs is the result of his entrepreneurial mindset and lifelong interest in politics and public administration. Menno advises several of EPPA’s clients on matters covering both public and private sectors. He is specialized in different policy subjects, including international corporate social responsibility, international trade, healthcare, and mobility.

Menno analyzes a broad range of information flows to keep his clients up to date on all relevant political developments in the Hague and beyond. Menno is also highly skilled in writing position papers and executing stakeholder analyses. Before joining EPPA, he interned at a public affairs office in The Hague. In addition, he gained experience as a policy evaluator at a research firm.

Menno earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Afterwards, he obtained a master’s degree in Political Science from Leiden University. For his graduate thesis, Menno conducted research on the development of a European regulation that aims to screen Foreign Direct Investments for security risks.

Menno also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Leiden University, where he conducted research on the lobbying process regarding the European ban on pulse fishing.

Menno is a member of a political party in Rotterdam and is passionate about music and film. He also enjoys reading thrillers and attending Feyenoord Rotterdam’s football matches.
