EPPA believes in an integrated approach to public affairs and strategic communications. We therefore advise organizations throughout the entire process. From determining an internal position or translating wishes into concrete lobby goals or key messages to strategy development and implementation.

Social responsibility
EPPA zet zich in om de toegankelijkheid van ons vak te vergroten: de politiek. We hebben daarom door de jaren heen meerdere initiatieven ontplooid om de publieke toegang tot betrouwbare, feitelijke politieke informatie te verhogen.
Zo heeft EPPA een app ontwikkeld om gemakkelijk parlementariërs te kunnen bereiken (Nieuwspoort App, i.s.m. debatcentrum Nieuwspoort), hebben we rond de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen een populaire verkiezings- en formatiewebsite met elke dag duizenden bezoekers (De Verkiezingswijzer en De Formatiewijzer), voorzien wij maatschappelijke cliënten met “low & pro bono” advies, geven we presentaties en lezingen aan universiteiten en scholen en hebben we het hoogleraarschap Public Affairs aan de Universiteit Leiden medegefinancierd.
Ook kunnen onze consultants onder werktijd bijdragen aan het Kompass programma, dat gratis coaching & training biedt aan organisaties met onvoldoende financiële middelen voor professioneel advies. EPPA speelt daarnaast een actieve rol in de branchevereniging BVPA om bij te dragen aan de ontwikkeling van het vakgebied.
Code of conduct
EPPA subscribes to the code of conduct of the Professional Association for Public Affairs (BVPA). This is intended to make clear what politicians, civil servants and journalists can expect from those who practice the profession of public affairs.
