EPPA believes in an integrated approach to public affairs and strategic communications. We therefore advise organizations throughout the entire process. From determining an internal position or translating wishes into concrete lobby goals or key messages to strategy development and implementation.

All EPPA consultants have a wide range of knowledge, expertise and backgrounds, but with one common denominator: a deep understanding of the political-administrative processes and decision-making. Social responsibility
EPPA is committed to increasing the accessibility of our profession: politics. Over the years, we have undertaken several initiatives to enhance public access to reliable, factual political information. For example, EPPA has developed an app to easily connect with parliamentarians (Nieuwspoort App, in collaboration with Nieuwspoort Debate Centre). We have also created popular election and formation websites with thousands of daily visitors during the Dutch parliamentary elections (De Verkiezingswijzer and De Formatiewijzer). Furthermore, we provide "low & pro bono" advice to clients from civil society, deliver presentations and lectures at universities and schools, and have co-financed the Chair in Public Affairs at Leiden University. Additionally, our consultants can contribute to the Kompass program during working hours, which offers free coaching and training to organizations lacking sufficient financial resources for professional advice. EPPA actively participates in the industry association BVPA to contribute to the development of the profession.
Code of conduct
EPPA subscribes to the code of conduct of the Professional Association for Public Affairs (BVPA). This is intended to make clear what politicians, civil servants and journalists can expect from those who practice the profession of public affairs.
